Honey

Guyana’s raw and unfiltered Rainforest honey is delicious. It contains all the pollen, enzymes and other micronutrients that are usually filtered out or destroyed by heat during processing.
High in antioxidants, antibacterial and antifungal properties, the health benefits of raw honey are far greater than processed varieties. Although all honey is liquid when first harvested, most varieties of raw honeys crystallize and become solid very quickly, leading many to conclude that honey is not completely natural if it is liquid. This is incorrect. Raw, unfiltered honey can be found in clear liquid form, although it is less common. Due to the unique tropical nectars collected by the bees here in Guyana, some varieties of our raw, unfiltered honey remains clear and liquid and is therefore not only extremely high in nutritional value but also perfect for glazing sweets and cakes. The taste is like no other.
